 | Super Bowl Homestyle Slow Cooker Chili
8 servings 4 1/2 hours / 20 minutes prep
1 lb lean ground beef
1 can no-salt-added pinto beans
1 can no-salt-added kidney beans
1 can low-sodium crushed tomatoes
1 can low-sodium tomato puree
1 cup of water (if you like soupy chili add more!
4 teaspoons oregano
4 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 1/2 cups chopped green peppers
Time To Make The Chili:
Brown ground beef.
Saute green peppers, onion and garlic.
Mix all ingredients in crock pot.
Let cook on low heat for 4-8 hours.
After a long hard day at work, come home to a healthy, hearty & delicious meal! |

1 - medium onion
9 - small/medium tomatoes (peeled)
1 - jalapeno pepper
1 - hot hungerian red pepper
1 - yellow chili pepper
1 - tsp. sugar
1 - Tbls. lime juice
1 - Tbls. vinegar
1 - tsp. cilantro
1 - tsp. garlic powder
1/2 - tsp. cumin
Peel, then dice fresh tomatoes into large mixing bowl. Mince onion, peach, jalapeno pepper, hungarian red pepper and yellow chili pepper, then add to tomatoes & mix. Blend together sugar, lime juice & vinegar, pour over salsa mixture. Combine cilantro, garlic powder & cumin to salsa and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 HOURS before serving to achieve highest flavor. |
